Vietnam visa requirements for Pakistanis
For Pakistan citizens, Vietnam has no visa exemption policy. If you want to enter Vietnam to travel, visit relatives or work, you can refer to the visa application and procedures below.
Procedures for applying for a Vietnamese visa for Pakistan as follows:
- Original passport with at least 1 blank page and still valid for at least 30 days from the date of entry into Vietnam.
- Visa application form
- 1 photo 4×6 cm.
- Copy of first and last sheet of passport.
- Return air ticket or to a third country.
- Account statement at least 3 months. Acceptable balance: VND 50,000,000.
- Visa fee
- Approval letter from Vietnam Immigration Department (working visa)

How to get Vietnam visa for Pakistan citizens
Get it at the embassy
Pakistani citizens can apply for a Vietnam visa directly at the Vietnamese Embassy/consulate in the United States.
For this way Pakistani guests must prepare the documents themselves at the request of the Vietnamese Embassy, must prove the purpose of entry and wait for the results of Vietnamese visas in accordance with the embassy’s regulations, as well as pay the fee.
The visa duration will be decided by the Vietnam Embassy.

Step 1: Apply for a visa to Vietnam – Get the approval letter
For Pakistani travelers, they need to contact a local Vietnam visa service provider to apply for the visa approval letter.
Step 2: Get a Vietnam visa at 1 of Vietnam’s international airports
After obtaining the approval letter issued by the Immigration Department of Vietnam, the foreigner will print the entry documents along with other personal documents such as the original passport, 1 photo 4×6 cm, Vietnamese visa fee, and then fill out the Vietnam immigration application.
It should be noted that with the visa approval letter, the Pakistani citizens can get visa stamped at any of the following international airports in Vietnam:

- Cat Bi in Hai Phong
